Raising funds for Michelle's next cancer battle.
Bay of Plenty
As most are aware Michelle became cancer free around five months ago. Unfortunately she has relapsed and once again the cancer is back. She starts chemo tomorrow 28th Sept for approx nine weeks. If the first two cycles of this particular chemo do not work she will need to move to a chemo drug which is unfunded- Bendamustine. She has already been declined via pharmac. This will cost $18,000 for two cycles.
Following chemo she will be admitted into Waikato hospital to get a stem cell transplant and will be away from home for 4-6 weeks approx. This obviously comes with financial implications for her family. We don't want to ask for more money from people; however people will often say let me know how we can help and this really is the best way.
