Money needed to kickstart HFD and other apps I am working on.
Bay of Plenty
Handwriting for Dyslexia (HFD) is an app designed to help Dyslexic kids with their handwriting. I came up with this handwriting tool, when I asked one of our schools support teachers what would help her students. She suggested something to her students improve their handwriting.
Hopefully, it will reduce the amount of handwriting worksheets printed and used. With a natural feel the pupil won't even feel a difference. My friends Te-Ariki and Jesse-James even said "It was so easy. I found HFD even better than paper."My goal would be to get HFD in all New Zealand schools who provide additional support for their dyslexic pupils.
But before I can put my app to the App Store, Apple requires a development fee of $120. The developer fee is renewed yearly and if stopped, your app will be taken of the market. I also would like money for an iPad pro, which would help with my future app development but it is also necessary to display and propose my idea when I show my app to schools.
The funds will be going to the Apple Developer fee, an iPad pro for displaying my app, and some camera recording gear for making more videos.
