Mo's Urgent Vet Care

For those of you who don't know our beloved baby Mo was hit by a car early last night.

He spent the night in the after hours vet which cost us close to $1100 for his night there which covered fluids and painkillers.

We hoped that this morning would bring a brighter outcome and that Mo might have picked up more but unfortunately that wasn't the case.

Mo has been allowed home to spend the day with us today but his pain killers will soon wear off and the decision will need to made for xrays this afternoon (suspected fractured pelvis) or if we can not afford this our baby will need to be put down. UPDATE They will most likely not operate on pelvis as it is possible to heal on it's own and would cost 4-5000. The new concern is Mo's raspy breathing and a mass in his stomach that has developed which is a sign of internal bleeding, which requires xrays, scans and more sedatives coming up to another $500 today.

My heart is broken writing this Mo is a huge part of our family he sleeps in our bed, he is best mates with the boys and has even taken the new kitten under his wing. He really is so much more than a cat to us. Please help us if you can :(
