Moyo and her family's battle with cancer.

Sibonile Moyo is a wonderful and bright 45 year old Zimbabwean lady who has moved to Botswana to find work and a better life for her family. As many people are aware, Zimbabwe and it's economy has been in a very difficult state for many years. Due to this many Zimbabwean people move to other countries in search of work to help their families.

Moyo is one of those people. She came to Botswana in search of work and has found it in the form of housekeeping. Her hard work and diligence have helped her to send money back to Zimbabwe so that her 5 children can have a good quality of life and schooling.

Her eldest daughter had in 2019 begun a course at a culinary school in Zimbabwe and was looking to continue learning her passion this year.

Unfortunately, in early 2020 during a hospital visit Moyo was diagnosed with breast cancer. She immediately began treatment to control the growth so that surgery could be performed once the doctors were sure it was operable. Due to the fact that Moyo is a foreign national, she needs to pay completely out of pocket for both her medical expenses and the surgery. This means she has had to stop sending money back to her family and her daughter has had to put her course on hold as well.

To have the procedure done in Zimbabwe would mean leaving her family's only income source and while cheaper, is still incredibly expensive.

So to help this amazing woman and her family, Marco and Byron have decided to set up this page so that perhaps people who hear her story and are able to help, can do so.
