My little buddy Litshi

$2,335 of $3,000 goal
Given by 99 generous donors in 4 days

Need $1,387.26 by Tuesday 03/03/2020 to save my little buddy Litshi, or he will have to be put down.

Bay of Plenty

Litshi came home Saturday night crying. I immediately got worried when I heard that. I opened the door and he limped in with a broken leg.

To save his leg will cost over $3,000. Because I only have until Tuesday (03/03/2020) to come up with the money I have painfully decided to have his leg amputated at a cost of $1,321.20.

If I can't come up with the money by 03/03/2020 the vet said he will have to be put down.

Please help me to give Litshi a few more years. He is a mischievous fun cat, and still has the zest for life.

My little buddy and I have been together a long time. He still has more years to go, so I don't want to have to put him down.

Use of funds

The funds are needed for amputation surgery on Litshi's left front leg. If there is enough surplus, maybe his leg can be saved, which would be fantastic. Worse case scenario, if Litshi doesn't make it through surgery, the funds will be donated to the SPCA.

Hi,

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you. Things have been a little busy lately, especially with the current events. I hope everyone is taking sensible precautions. A couple of days ago I received some information that you can’t catch COVID-19 from your pet. Then I saw on the news last night that humans can pass on C-19 to their pets. When this first started to get really serious WHO was saying that it’s a human specific virus. Too much information with too many contradictions – not exactly encouraging – best to take the precautions and live as best as you can. Most importantly, don’t panic.

My Little Buddy is doing great. Very shortly after getting up and about, three days confined to the bedroom to restrict movement, he very quickly took over my La-Z-Boy. His first day outside, after four more days inside, was a little apprehensive. Now he's back to normal, spending hours out. He can happily jump up onto the picnic table, and down again. He can also run surprisingly fast, and over the last few days – getting mischievous 😊👍👍👍.

The new image is of Litshi just before his operation, then fifteen days later. All of you have made two Litshi’s very happy. Thank you all so much, and I hope all of you get through this current dilemma healthy and happy.

I'll leave this post up until Sunday night, then permanently close it.

Thank you all once again, take care 👋👋😊😊

Litshi and me 🐈👴
