Hello everyone, unfortunately one of my babies has problems with her legs that requires urgent surgery. The surgery is called ‘unilateral medical luxating patella surgery’ and is estimated in the range of $1,900.00 - $2,100.00, at this stage it’s only on her left leg but the right is looking like it might go that way too. From what I can understand, her legs are bandy and the knee caps try to go where it would sit natural if her legs were straight. It’s just how she has grown, nothing we could have avoided.
Some background:
We got Dee and her brother Bull from a Rescue called Haven Bull Breed Rescue, they’re backyard mixes that have some definite signs of mastiff and boxer but apart from that we’re unsure! They have just gone a year old and we adopted them about nine months ago. They’re gentle, loving, energetic puppies who love sleeping, food, sticks and swimming.
Bull needed surgery on his eyes last year due to genetics and unfortunately, it’s my girls turn now.
Haven is doing everything they can to help fundraise but anything anyone else can do would be absolutely wonderful too!
Thank you very much for reading, Tess 😊
The money will go to the surgery, if there is anything left over it will be donated to Haven Bull Breed rescue who we adopted the puppies from.
