Naomi is donating her kidney to her son Jasher, 6, and we want to ensure she doesn't have to worry about finances when she gets home.
Waikato
There are so many of us who may feel like there is little we can do to help.... let's raise as much as we can to ensure that the last thing Naomi and the kids have to worry about is their finances when they get back home.
Through this whole process, Naomi has maintained an amazing, positive outlook and is such a great mum raising her children Jasher and Raukura as a single parent.
Jasher is just the happiest, smiliest and bravest kid you've ever met! And he just turned 6 on Sunday.
Wednesday 27 May 2015 is the big day for the transplant.
Naomi never complains about her situation, even though she has given up her rental house as they are required to stay in Auckland for 6 weeks post surgery for daily testing.
She will need to then find new housing when they come back to Hamilton.
The funds will be used how Naomi sees fit to ensure their bills are paid, help in finding a new home and any medical/travel costs associated with the surgery can be paid.
Love, thanks and blessings to all those who give - you are truly amazing and we are so grateful! Every little bit helps :)
I'm involved in the fundraising because Naomi is my sister in law and she's awesome.
A little update for you ... 17 June 2015
It's been three weeks now since surgery and all is going well! The family are staying at Ronald McDonald House next door to Starship with daily testing.
They have even managed some outings to feed the birds and the zoo!
Jasher's sister Raukura turned 3 and loved her fairy cake!
Not long to go now and they can finally come home... xxx
