Neil "fluffy" Batchelor needs our help.
Neil came off his bucket and is currently in hospital - he and the family need our support while he recovers.
CanterburyHi everyone – as some of you may know our friend Neil Batchelor came off his bucket at Ruapuna this weekend. He is currently in hospital and it is unclear when he will be out, and even more when he will be able to start working again. Neil, being a self employed glazier is of course not earning anything while he is unable to work. With the families blessing, we have decided to start a collection for Neil to help him, and the family through the challenges of his recovery and trying to keep the business afloat for the months ahead.
Neil has been racing for over 25 years – and anyone who knows him knows his dry sense of humour and loyalty to his friends, however most of all his love for the sport. It would be greatly appreciated if you could help Neil, Sharon and Mr. Batch (Stephen) during this difficult time.
Warm Regards, Joanne

Latest update
Fluffy is still fighting! 24 March 2021
Hi everyone, just a quick update to let you all know Neil is still fighting the good fight - some days he shows great progress, while other days he is a bit more quiet. He is still in the Neuro ward, and the doctors are working with him every day giving him tasks to do to stimulate his recovery. Please send the family and of course Neil all the positive thoughts as he works hard towards his future. They are not accepting visitors for Neil as yet, only close family, however Sharon has once again thanked everyone for the support of her boy. Please keep the donations coming, as we are still unsure what the path or the length of Neils recovery will be. Take care, Joanne.
