Neil came off his bucket and is currently in hospital - he and the family need our support while he recovers.
Canterbury
Hi everyone – as some of you may know our friend Neil Batchelor came off his bucket at Ruapuna this weekend. He is currently in hospital and it is unclear when he will be out, and even more when he will be able to start working again. Neil, being a self employed glazier is of course not earning anything while he is unable to work. With the families blessing, we have decided to start a collection for Neil to help him, and the family through the challenges of his recovery and trying to keep the business afloat for the months ahead.
Neil has been racing for over 25 years – and anyone who knows him knows his dry sense of humour and loyalty to his friends, however most of all his love for the sport. It would be greatly appreciated if you could help Neil, Sharon and Mr. Batch (Stephen) during this difficult time.
Warm Regards, Joanne
Neil has been a close friend of mine for over 15 years - his mother Sharon has asked me to start a page for her son.
Household bills, medical bills that are not covered, fuel for the family to and from the hospital etc.
Givealittle closing for Neil 10 May 2021
Hi all - just to let you know this page is closing 16 May - so only a few days left if you want to contribute towards Neils recovery. Saturday 10am is exactly 3 months since the accident, and Neil takes a small step forward every week. He will be in touch when he can. Take care, and thank you for all your support. Jo
