Nepal 2020 covid-19 fund

We need your help. The current situation in Nepal due to covid-19 is affecting the most vulnerable with many unable to work therefore unable to feed themselves and their families. In 2016 I met and work alongside Binod, and since then we have been in touch and worked on a couple of projects together. Binod is very active in his community and always has others at heart. He is currently purchasing and distributing food from his own pockets, which is now becoming tough. He has provided me the breakdown of what each item will cost, and as you can see any donation will go far with $4.80 NZD providing all of the below. If you can spare any change, no matter how small, it would be greatly appreciated and would go so far. The funds will go directly to Binod to purchase the items and begin distribution in the community to those who need it.

1kg rice: 75 rupees ($1 NZD)

1kg lentils: 150 rupees ($2 NZD)

1kg salt: 25 rupees ($0.40 NZD)

1kg onion: 50 rupee ($0.70NZD)

1kg potatoes: 55 rupees ($0.70NZD)
