Each year, New Horizons for Women Trust : Hine Kahukura gives out scholarships and research grants to women throughout New Zealand. Many of these awards are for women who are starting or returning to education (second chance education), some are for refugees, some are changing careers and some have English as a second language. We want to improve the processes for these women to access the awards and support that they need to meet their goals.
You can help! Part of the process improvement for these women is building an accessible website - one with less clicks, that is easier to navigate. This Give-A-Little ask is to raise the funds we need to build improvements to our website. Please share broadly through your networks and we welcome all contributions.

New Horizons is a national charity, supporting education, innovation and research by providing a national awards programme - scholarships, research grants and special purpose awards for women, from peace projects to second chance education.

Extending the time to donate 7 July 2019
Thank you to everyone who has donated so far and for all your lovely and supportive comments - we will find a way to share these broader through the Facebook Group and newsletter. With your contributions, we have already managed to meet 1/3 of our target!
As we have the award ceremonies coming up in late July/August, we have made a decision to extend the fundraiser so that we can promote it at these events.
Please also feel free to share and promote the Give a Little link through your networks - together we can make a big difference in the lives of these women, their families, and communities.
