No. 8 Wired - A Mongolian Rally Adventure
- $2,636.45 donated
- 40 generous donors
4 guys. 1 car. 2 charities. 12,000km. 40 days. 0 mechanical knowledge. 1 awesome adventure
We're 4 guys going on the adventure of a lifetime travelling from Czech Republic to Mongolia with no backup, no support and no set route.
We'll be packed into a worn out old car about the same size as a matchbox which will be guaranteed to break down more times than you've had hot dinners. And with the combined mechanical knowledge of a 10 year old child we'll be sure to need some help along the way. On top of that we'll have to contend with less-than-friendly local wildlife, corrupt guards at border crossings and dubious personal hygiene.
But why should we have all the fun, you ask?? We want to give something back, so will be raising at least $2000 for charity before we get imprisoned or kidnapped along the way.
All donations will be split down the middle between the rally organisers chosen charity 'Cool Earth' and our own chosen charity 'NZ Forest and Bird'.
Any size of donation is appreciated, and mother nature will thank you for it.
