NO Man, Woman or Child Deserves to Go Hungry Over Christmas & New Years!

If Christmas is supposedly meant to be about Joy and Happiness, why then are their so many families already without food in their cupboards, and only getting worse, more stressful with Christmas around the corner?
While many Social Service Agencies are closed during Christmas and New Years, SANZ Gisborne Kai Aroha keeps on keeping on.
We will continue to help those who need help by way of Food, but we're asking you Gisborne to help our own by giving a little for those families who may have nothing for the next two, three or even four weeks, and if they do, it will be only enough for probably two or three days at the most. We know this to be true.
Please Help Us, put food into the Cupboards of those who are less fortunate, by Giving even just a Little.

SANZ will assist you with making sure your rights are respected. SANZ promises to do all we can and more to assist you with your complaints about your social needs and any injustices you or your family are experiencing. SANZ operates independently for you.
SANZ will help you make informed choices, speaks up on your behalf if you can't or we will encourage you to have a voice with our support. SANZ will listen to your needs.
SANZ will work with absolute respect, integrity and with the utmost confidentiality. SANZ promises you that we will be honest at all times with you even if the truth isn't what we want to hear, and if we don't know the answers to your questions we promise we will try our utmost to find the answers.
SANZ will Advocate for You with the following Agencies and/or Provide Services to You in the following areas:
Housing New Zealand (HNZ)
Work and Income New Zealand (WINZ)
Ministry of Vulnerable Children Oranga Tamariki (MVC/CYFS)
Health Providers
Education Providers
Community Social Worker providers
The Police and Justice System
Iwi Organiasations
Whanau, Hapu, Iwi
Non Government Organisations (NGO's)
Voluntary groups
Probation
Individual Community Members
Food Bank
Budgetting
Preparations of Court Applications
Use of funds
All Funds will go towards Food and any surplus if we exceed our target will go on Food Vouchers that will also be used when our Kai Aroha Pantry requires a top up of food. We can't go wrong with this Plan because feeding the people is our Focus.
