Please help Matt raise funds so he can chase his dream of representing New Zealand Deaf Rugby team.
Wellington
The New Zealand Deaf Rugby Football Union promotes the participation of Deaf and hard of hearing players in rugby activities, and fosters Deaf international or inter-zone matches.
While the players selected for the team are Deaf, they are just as passionate and committed to the game of rugby; and are equally proud to represent their country and wear the black jersey as are the members of the All Blacks.
The funding offered to the Deaf Blacks is completely different from the All Blacks, Matt has to fully support himself and fund his upcoming three test matches against Argentina.
This is where Matt needs your support. He is a devoted single dad of two adorable children aged 2 and 4 who he has sole care for. Matt works full time however with the pressures of the costs of living anyone would struggle to fund this amazing opportunity. Without your support, Matt will not be able to attend these upcoming test matches.
I am friends with Matt and as another single dad, I want him to chase his dreams.
The funds raised will be used to cover Matt's trip to Auckland this year. It will cover flights, food, accommodation, insurance, travel, and other equipment.
