Let’s repay Awhina for her dahlia knowledge by helping her with critical house repairs!!

To the members of the New Zealand Dahlia Group on Facebook, Awhina is the heart and soul of the group. She’s always there to support and provide guidance to all members, inexperienced or otherwise.
Recently, she shared that she needs to raise money to make critical house repairs to the family home she lives in.
Let’s be here for her now and repay her kindnesses by helping her with this project.

I’m the creator and administrator of the Facebook group and Awhina stepped up as moderator when I needed help due to personal circumstances. She’s amazing.
Use of funds
Awhina lives in her family homestead in the far north. In her own words : “It’s an old family property that my great grandfather built with my grandfather’s help. It’s a very old home and comes with old home costs”

I am absolutely blown away by the support from everyone in the plant community. It still feels like a dream but it’s starting to feel real now. My Whanau and I would like to thank everyone that contributed to the give a little. Your generosity has made all the difference to what we can achieve here.
