On going medical costs

I was diagnosed with a rear tumor in my right upper jaw bone when I was 14 but due to underlying conditions I nearly died. I was left till i was in my 30's before they attempted to remove my tumor again. the tumor was removed in 2005 but to do so they had to remove my whole upper jaw bone on the right and i had to have reconstruction surgery done. Though the reconstruction surgery it self went well, due to lack of hospital staff and care while in hospital i got a major infection in the operation site and lost the bone implant. due to this I have been left with no Jaw, Roof of my mouth, Teeth and Sylvia glands on the right side of my face. I have tried fighting for Treatment injury but in doesn't cover lack of after care while in hospital.

My local hospital have been really good and have done some major work on trying to help make my life better but now 13 years on not having these things are starting to take a toll on my life due to having no roof in my mouth i am open to getting infections in my sinuses all the time and my tear ducts and it has got to the point were they are no longer preforming as they should be. I am on a 6 month waiting list just to be seen by a specialist as I need to have a stent put in as they don't drain where they are supposed to but drain into my right cheek. My local hospital have now said that they can no longer afford to keep covering my my medical costs and there for am only getting band aids when I need operations. but this is hard considering that with my last ct scan showed that due to not having a roof in my mouth and getting all these infections it is causing what bone is left on the right side of my face to die off.

I had a plate made 5 years ago but it was too big and bulky and it never fitted properly. It got broken when I was in a horse riding accident and i hit my head and they came flying out and broke. ACC have now come to the party and said that they will pay for 11 teeth and a plate to be made to replace the one I had (only because I had an accident) but I have to pay for the rest of the teeth and the screws in which to hold them in with my self.
