Help with financial support to make Jon's last wish come true.

My friend Jon Flores was diagnosed with terminal stage lymphoma. He had his last chemotherapy last Sunday, May 6, 2021.

He currently lives with his nephew here in Burnside, Christchurch. He stopped working as he needed to go for chemotherapy. His wife, Marilyn, currently works to provide for Jon and their two children, ages 18 and 14. His eldest son is in the Philippines.

Jon wishes to have his whole family here with him. He wants to make his family happy. He wishes to see his eldest son and spend time with his whole family by his side during his final moments.

Asking for support is not in Jon or Marilyn's nature. They have shown resilience for the past year, coping quietly amidst uncertain times. This chapter of their lives will be challenging and they cannot do this alone, so I am asking for a little help on their behalf.

Use of funds

All funds raised will be used to support Jon and his family including airfare and quarantine expenses for his eldest son, travel, accommodation, utilities and any unexpected bills that may ensue in the weeks and months to come.
