To pay for Otis' medicine
Auckland
Otis our recently rescued cat has recently been diagnosed with FIP. He is only a 4 months old baby kitten and has barely lived long enough to experience life. At the moment there is no cure for FIP that can be purchased in New Zealand, or through our vet. Our local vet has advised us that the only option is to put him down as soon as he stops eating to end his suffering. The only other option we have is to buy medicine overseas. We have researched and found so many successful live-saving stories with a medicine overseas. However, we cannot afford to pay for his medicine. There are two different forms of FIP. Wet and dry. Otis has the wet form meaning his abdomen is filling up with fluid that becomes very heavy and restricts and makes it hard for him to breathe.
Feline infectious peritonitis, also known as FIP, is a feline coronavirus that affects all wild and domestic cats. Cats under 2 are more prone to catching this virus. The virus in 10% of all infected cats mutates and multiply. Slowly taking over their whole bodies. It is a very serious disease and almost always fatal.

We don't want to take baby Otis' bright future away from him. Even the smallest donations make a difference. Thank you.
I am the owner of my small 4-month-old DSH kitten diagnosed with FIP.
To afford to pay for Otis' medicine. He will need 84 days of injections of GS-441524 (from the website https://www.curefip.com/).
1 week into injections! 23 April 2021
Thank you so much for all the support from everyone 🥰 honestly would love to reply and thank every single one of you guys but it’s seriously impossible. With all your help we’ve managed to reach past our goal and now able to afford the medicine treatment for little Otis! Thank you for saving his life 💞 And a huge thank you to everyone on Facebook for all the advice and those who have given us vials to start his treatment ASAP! At the moment it’s day 9 of his 84day treatment and honestly we already see so much progress and change it’s crazy. To keep up to date with how Otis is doing throughout his treatment we are linking his TikTok page, most recent video update! Will be regularly posting updates each week to show his improvement and progress
Again honestly no words can describe just how happy and thankful we are for all the support in such little time. So blessed that so many people care and are willing to help our Otis 💗 We appreciate everything you guys have done. Thank you.
