We are needing help with our mothers Medical Flight to bring her home and receive the correct Medical care she deserves.
Me and my sisters are stepping out of our comfort zone and are asking for any small donation to help fly our mother back to NZ on an Air ambulance as our mother needs to be on a stretcher to travel.
Our Mother who is normally a healthy 60year old, is currently bedridden in Samoas hospital where she became very ill on a trip to Samoa due to Family Commitments. She complained of stomach pain which resulted in an ulcer that bursted in her stomach & doctors needing to undergo emergency operation to repair our mother's stomach lining.
Among all this, my mum suffers from a Spinal Cord injury which they can only operate here in NZ and why she is needing to be on a stretcher during flight.
Samoas medical health system is not as advanced as NZ and our mother deserves to be taken care of with the right medical help.
Now, A month later my mum is still fighting for her strength in her hospital bed. Everyday has its ups and downs with fevers and slowly she's starting to decline food.
Any donation is appreciated by my family and we pray to God to restore any value you have donated to help with our mother's medical flight.
My mother is the most God fearing lady I know, who has made it this far with just faith and prayers.
Air Ambulance which consists of
- 2x ICU nurses
- Aircraft flying time
- Ground Ambulance in Apia & Samoa
- Ground Handling
- Administration costs/handling
Thank you for your donations 10 August 2022
First of all would like to thank everyone for the donations as well as sharing our mothers page. May God bless you and you're family abundantly.
Just an update on what's going on with our mum, we have decided not to go thru Air Ambulance as the 68k goal was not achievable in the time frame given. We have now gone straight through under Air New Zealand and they have advised us a 12k quote.
This 12k costs of my mother's stretcher/machine, my mother's flight, one doctor and his flight ticket instead of 2 and my sisters flight coming back.
Our mother is now working hard through Physiotherapy to try and make the trip in a normal car from hospital to Airport, and Airport to Hospital when she lands in NZ.
This has taken deep consideration & with time not on our hands all we want is our mother home.
Thank you for you're continuous support, we are overwhelmed by the love shown.
May God bless you.
Ioelu Family. Xx
