Palepa Needs a Break

Anyone that knows our Paley, knows shes a star.. One of the best stars.. Plain and simple.. She would give the shirt off her back, in order to help someone.. Anyone.

(And it wouldn't surprise me if she'd actually done that)

We often hear of those situations where the hand that life deals you just seems way too unfair, the sort of stories that you just hear about and think 'far out!'

I know that if I had been through even just a fraction of some of the challenges that Paley has faced, that I wouldn't be able to handle it, yet somehow Palepa takes these things in her stride and fights on.. For her and for her beautiful 11 year old girl Reggae.. but it's always with a smile on her face, and always with a boiled jug just in case you need a cuppa.

Well it's time we all boiled our jugs and made HER a collective cuppa.

Palepa is 34 years old and 4 years ago was diagnosed with Breast Cancer.

She underwent 6 months of Chemotherapy and after a Mastectomy, Radiation and Hormone Therapy it seemed to have subsided.

Unfortunately during this time, Paley lost one of her older sisters, our dear Lucy John (Bell) to the same nasty disease, Cancer of the Bowel.

Paley was feeling really good, had a new outlook on life and was getting healthy in order to undergo breast reconstruction, but a few months ago, Paley started suffering from severe headaches so went for a routine check up.

It was revealed that Paley's cancer has now spread to her BRAIN in 9 different places.

The largest of these tumors was removed, but it was also found in her CHEST and RIB BONES.

Paley has had two intense months of Chemotherapy to battle these new tumors.

During this time she has not only battled her health but has continued to support her own girl and care for her brothers kids too.. Absolute Legend.

Sadly, despite the fighting, the positivity and the love, the Chemo just isn't working and in those two months, the 9 tumors have now turned into 23.

Paley's condition is now Terminal.

She is going to have more radiation as of tomorrow to prolong her life but is going to be really exhausted.

This Give A Little page is going to pay for her and Reggae to go away somewhere nice together if possible, cover on-going medical costs and just take away some of the burden that comes with being sick.

If anyone deserves the help it's our girl Palepa... absolute heart of gold woman.
