Our dear friend and colleague Pavitra was diagnosed with breast cancer last year. After Chemotherapy and a double mastectomy plus natural healing methods, she is back at work part time. She has recently found out however that the cancer has returned and she will need further treatment.
This kind, caring, funny lady has brought up her two children on her own and is a wonderful kindergarten teacher to many children on the Kapiti Coast, and a friend to many. Through an incredibly stressful time that most of us can only imagine, she has remained positive and strong.
Please can you help us get her somewhere warm and sunny to rest and recover after her treatment and enable her to spend quality time with her two children.

Friends. Pavitra works with my wife who is behind this fundraising effort. Pavitra gives herself and energy to the community and school she works at and has been diagnosed with cancer, which was in remission but has returned. She desperately needs to get away with her children and needs help financially to do this.
Use of funds
Pavitra is longing for warmth and sunshine and time with her family. Funds will be used to fund this holiday.
