To build a fantastic, fun, challenging mountain bike track down a recently logged North Face hill in the Whitford Forest in East Auckland.

The Pohutukawa Coast Mountain Bike club is a located in East Auckland and caters for riders of Auckland and beyond who want to ride in the wonderful Whitford Forest. The forest has recently being felled and it is vital we put in new tracks prior to gorse growth and replanting. Tracks put in now will last up to 30 years. We are planning, via club working bees, on clearing a 1.5km line down a fantastic 100m hill so that professional trail builders can then come in a build an amazing grade 3-4 single track for all to enjoy. The project is to raise $7000 to pay for two trail builders for three weeks.
