Hope for Darvin
Waikato
Darvin Murao - father to 3 year old Nathaniel, husband to Rechel, records specialist at Transfield Services - was diagnosed with Metastatic oesophageal gastric, Stage IV back in March of 2014. He underwent six to seven cycles of aggressive chemotherapy. on his seventh cycle the side-effects became stronger to the point his body (bone marrow getting softer) can’t take the chemo anymore so his oncologist stopped the treatment and didn’t finish the supposedly eight cycle. To that point, the main tumor has shrunk and the metastases disappear. He gain strength and recover from the chemo and planned to go back to work part-time on February 2015.
But Last January 2015 he notice a lump in his neck and thought it might be a cancer cell, he made an appointment with his oncologist and scheduled him for biopsy. Darvin’s thought was right, it is cancer. He did a scan, and the tumour grew back and metastasised to his liver again. So he was scheduled for another 3 months cycle chemotherapy given 3 consecutive weeks, and a week off. But unfortunately his last scan's result wasn’t good. His oncologist said his cancer was already advanced and not responding to his chemo anymore, Darvin also got fluid build up in his tummy (Ascites). On April 14, 2015, his oncologist decided to stop the treatment, there was nothing more they could do, and that certain death would be upon my husband.
But we will never give up, we will find a way and will keep holding on God’s promises.
So today we are asking for your financial support to help cover medical cost and other everyday expenses that we hope will save my husbands life. Any donations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance and God Bless.
Please, also help us with prayers to our Almighty God for Darvin’s quick and complete restoration to good health.
God Bless & Thank you very much.
