Peter is the kindest man with a quick wit and the biggest silver lined heart I have ever known. He lives simply and despite losing all his possessions he has asked for nothing.

Thanks for helping Peter to get set up again,

“I am happy to be of any assistance that I can”
“On behalf of Peter I am passing on his gratitude to those who have generously given on this page - so far. Peter went dancing again on Wednesday and this will help keep his legs in good condition for when he climbs up the long zigzag path to his new house soon to be rebuilt hopefully.”
“Good luck Peter. I hope you can rebuild and get home as soon as possible. From a neighbour over the hill.”
“Hope things are going better.”
“Time to give a little more. I have learned so much more about his character recently - so laid back and philosophical about coping with life's calamities - attended a special dance on Saturday as if nothing had happened. I just hope the insurance company looks after his rightful claim adequately because he really does deserve to be treated with respect.”
“Peter has contributed greatly to the"sequence dancing" scene for as long as people can remember in the Wellington region. I regularly dance with him as well as many other women - his timing and technical knowledge was superb. Many people now are elderly like himself and may not know about this givealittle page so I shall personally try to contact some of his dancing friends although difficult to do at this time of year. Perhaps you could extend the time of giving, Natasha, as the regular dances do not restart until mid February. I am confident in you managing this page and any money collected for Peter as I have met you, Natasha. I am just giving a small donation now to see how it works as not done this before. Elizabeth Clarke”
“Lots of love Peter”
“Sorry to hear about Peter's predicament. I don't know him - but wish him all the best.”
“All the very best to Peter. Hope he can rebuild his house and stay in the neighbourhood - and that at least one of the scrabble sets survived the fire hoses!”
“was just thinking, on the bus as I passed Peter's old home; "i wonder how he's doing, what he needs and if I can help at all..."”
