Last week I got the best news ever - I have been selected to represent New Zealand at UCI Track Cycling World Championships in Switzerland in August this year.
Now I have the challenge of getting there!!!
I am a 18 year old girl, the second eldest of six children. I have been competitively cycling since I was 11 years old and very early on I developed a passion for track cycling.
A year ago my family made huge sacrifices to allow me to relocate from my home in the Lower North Island to Invercargill where I attend Southland Girls High School and board at Enwood House. This move has enabled me train with the New Zealand Development Squad at the Velodrome and to fulfil my dream to represent New Zealand in Track Cycling.
Estimated costs to attend these Championships in Switzerland is around $10,000.00 which I know is a lot of money for family to find. So please any help to ease the burden on my family and at the same time give me the opportunity to make my family, my supporters and my country proud. I am 100% committed to this as it is a dream come true.
I thank you for any support you are able to give and be assured any donation will be so appreciated.

All donations will go towards travel costs - which include return airfares for myself and the equipment I require to compete in Switzerland along with transport costs while I am there. I also need to cover accommodation and administration costs.
