Tanu’s cancer has now spread and she urgently needs funds to explore reputable non-funded treatments both natural and medical.
Diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma in 2015, it has now metastasized. Surgery was not an option. Fiercely independent, Tanu has made every effort to manage the impacts of this. In the last two months her health has deteriorated rapidly, she is now experiencing pain and at times her mobility is affected. She is unable to continue working. It has been an emotional and financially distressing time for Tanu and her family as they have attempted to navigate through this challenging time.
Tanu states “After the initial shock and freakout I have been quietly facing this reality and dealing with it as best as I am able. However, I now realise I am at a critical point in time and have to reach out for help.”
Your donation will give Tanu the freedom to explore treatment options both in New Zealand and overseas.
Tanu is focussed on natural treatments in New Zealand that include Iscador injections, TBL-12, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, Acupuncture, Moxa, Kinesiology, Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, Anthroposophic Eurythmy movements, Aloe Aborens protocol, Ojibwa Essiac tincture, high potency Liposomal Vitamin C, and counselling. It has been suggested to her to contact the National Institute of Integrative Medicine (NIIM Clinic) in Melbourne for a 6 week Intensive that would include Hyperthermia Therapy treatments. Preparations are being made for her to go as soon as possible.
These precious funds would also support her spiritual and emotional wellbeing, allowing her to move forward in her healing, and improving her quality of life.
Ka tautoko mātou kei te awhinatia tēnei kaupapa.
Ma ngā huruhuru ka rere te manu.
Ko ngā huruhuru nei ngā rongoa pai ki ōku hoa a Tanu.
Ka watea ēnei he ara haneanea mōna.
By the feathers the bird flies.
The feathers being the rongoa, medicine.

Putting out an urgent call for funds for Tanu 25 April 2019
We would like to thank everyone who is contributing to getting Tanu’s urgent message out on their social networks, and to everyone who has generously donated. It is kind of you and we have been overwhelmed by your response. Thank you.
The last few weeks have been awesome, with lots of family and friends making contact. Tanu has met recently with Hospice. They are looking to support her current needs and make her as comfortable as possible so that she can pursue all avenues including getting to the NIIM’s Clinic in Melbourne.
Now more than ever, we are putting the call out for critically needed funds for Tanu, for non-funded natural and medical cancer treatments. To make this possible please give whatever donation you can, and share this Givealittle page on your social networks.
