Kia Orana & Malo E Lelei
We are humbly grateful to you for coming to Brian's GiveaLittle page.
Brian has been blessed with the incredible opportunity to represent New Zealand as part of the World Series Cal Ripken Under 13 Baseball team travelling to Branson, Missouri USA where he will compete against national teams from all over the world. This trip will depart Auckland from 25 July and return 14 August. The tournament commences with the Boys of Summer Baseball Tournament followed by the Cal Ripken World Series. This will be a jam packed adventure, they will play more games of baseball in these two weeks than an entire season!
Brian has worked real hard for this opportunity and being selected is validation for him that hardwork pays off.
Brian has two younger siblings who are watching him grow and develop and this is also inspiring them as well as his friends and fellow teammates. He is a wonderful kid and strives to do good in all things. He loves all sports, food (especially his mums cooking), music, and spending time with family and friends.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for Brian that will expose him to baseball at an international level which is an invaluable insight. The challenging issue is there is no funding provided and he and his parents have to self fund to get him there and this is where we kindly ask for your amazing support.
Each player contribution toward this tournament is $6,250 NZD. This consists of Flights, accommodation, Boys of Summer entry fee, all meals, snacks and nutrition, travel and sports injury insurance, pins, uniforms, training gear, med kit, coaching, indoor trainings, team camps, team outings in Branson (Water Park, Theme Park, Kansas City Royals, Baseball Game (Minor/Major), transport, ESTA, laundry, official photo, laundry loops, taxes/tips and US$ conversion.
We will send updates via social media of his daily antics on tour.
Malo aupito,
Brian Woolley and his Hopoi & Woolley Family.
As a Mother I wish to help my child realise all he can and optimise on all opportunities presented to him as much as I can. I have seen him work hard in everything he puts his mind to and to result in these once in a lifetime opportunities teaches him the value of hardwork. My husband and I will be supporting Brian financially but will need help to enable him to get there. Thank you.
