Please!! Help For A Humanitarian Cause To Seek Justice!

Angela, the old lady-in-distress, and her late husband David, who were well off originally, were criminally cheated and mentally tortured by an alleged conman posing as a self-styled Guru. He first gained their trust and confidence by supporting them like a son. His every move was in a very calculated and pre-meditated manner in compliance with his covert modus operandi for cheating. He gradually and fraudulently siphoned off an equivalent of more than half a million NZ dollars worth of their fixed and liquid assets, their retirement net egg, through a highly humane relationship with them spanning over a decade. The god man promised that he would take care of their assets and investments as the trusting Angela and David were quite sick and had limited mobility. After knowing the truth about the fraudulent activities of the said god man, the old couple, being no match for the highly influential, socially powerful and wealthy businessman god man, were left with no other option except to knock at the doors of the local courts for justice and for reclaiming their lost assets. Though the bail applications of main accused were dismissed in the High Court and the Supreme Court, the prolonged legal fight is still on, and poor Angela is still facing a formidable burden of unbearable legal costs.

This breach of faith and a dizzying downward spiral to quick financial ruin was a great psychosomatic shock to the old couple. David, who already had diabetes, BP, and heart issues, suffered a massive stress-induced paralytic attack. After struggling for life in the ICU for 70 days, he ultimately breathed his last while the court case was also at peak stress levels for the wife and her family. Under the stress of so many legal complications and personal setbacks, Angela has now developed mental health issues like acute depression as well, besides suffering from multiple physical ailments relating to heart, eyes, orthopedics, and dental. Her crippling financial circumstances and medical conditions have prompted me to launch this fundraising project for providing moral and financial support to her at the time when she needs it most.

As creator of this page, I invoke the inherent 'urge to give' spirit in all the generous hearted Kiwis and the blessed global citizens worldwide to give-a-little from their sharable resources to the Cause for alleviating the sufferings of this senior lady-in-need.
