Ease the financial pressure of Lou and her partner Meryl during Lou's fight against cancer.
Bay of Plenty
On Christmas Eve, Lou suffered a massive seizure. She was rushed to the hospital where they discovered that she had malignant brain tumors. The tumors were a result of metastasis from her breast cancer from 4 years ago.
Lou is determined to fight the cancer for the third time. She is undergoing chemotherapy but she has also decided to follow complementary and alternative health approaches to help improve her symptoms and manage side effects from the chemo.
These therapies are not covered by insurance and can get quite expensive.
Lou is the most positive and generous person I know. For years, she has given and still gives her time and energy helping kids and adults to improve their musical and brass band skills; always with kindness and a great sense of humor.
Easing the financial pressure of Lou and her partner Meryl is the goal so Lou can continue to get the help she needs to keep fighting her cancer. ANYthing you can contribute toward this would be gratefully appreciated. Thank you!
Lou and Meryl have been good friends of mine for 20 years.
The funds will go to Lou and Meryl to help pay for alternative therapies.
