Asking for financial help feels like a difficult and vulnerable thing to do - but life has thrown us a curve ball and here I am - asking for your help please xx
I have been diagnosed with grade 3 stage 3 Triple Positive Breast Cancer. This type of cancer is considered very aggressive and fast growing especially because of my age.
Since the original diagnosis I have had some major progression through my lymph nodes which caused me to become inoperable. I have just completed three months of chemotherapy and immunotherapy and am now operable so will be undergoing a bilateral mastectomy on November 29th 2024.
This surgery is my best shot at longer survival but the months following it are a critical window of time in which to prevent further spread.
I am combining both allopathic and traditional approaches and doing everything I can to be here to see our son grow up.
We moved out of our longterm rental in June and are full time housesitting so that we can afford to pay the medical bills but we are still struggling to make ends meet due to all the costs involved in this journey.
The options available to me after this surgery through the hospital system are considered "palliative" but I feel full of hope that there are still MANY things I can do! I have learnt so much on this journey and have spent many hours researching - unfortunately a lot of options are out of our reach financially.
Any support you are able to offer would be humbly and gratefully received.

Thank you for all the loving messages I have beren recieving....
I may not have physically replied but they really mean a lot and have helped me immensely over the past week .
Post-surgery come down is a real thing and there have been some really hard days and nights , lots of tears shed and the facing of many fears in regards to the journey ahead .
BUT beneath all the emotions I am allowing to freely flow I feel a deep foundation of strength and faith.
Feeling very grateful to Andre for being such a beautiful man who supports me so unconditionally through this massive journey -tirelessly tending to and carrying the needs of our whole whānau.
I am blessed on many levels .
Thank you all for your support.
