Please help me fundraise for the World Snooker Qualifiers in Sheffied 2019

Hi everyone,

My name is Adam Lilley, I'm 20 years old and have been playing pool and snooker since I was five years old.

I moved to New Zealand with my mum in 2008, and was quickly taken under the wing of my local snooker club in New Plymouth. I first won my first Major pool title at the age of 13, and then went onto become NZ under 21's pool champion when I was Fifteen. I have been runner up in under 21's snooker more recently , and was also runner up in the 2019 under 21's Oceanaia tournament. I now live in Christchurch, where I spend most of my time practising at the Cashmere club.

Last year, I was honoured to represent NZ in world under 21's snooker in China, where I qualified for the main event, which was a massive feat for myself and New Zealand snooker.

This year, all my dreams have started to come true, but I need some support from you.

For as long as I can remember I have dreamed of playing snooker in Sheffield with the snooker greats. I have always believed that one day I might be good enough to make this happen.

Two weeks ago, I won a place in the US open 9 ball Championships in Las Vegas at the end of April, and two days ago, I received a phone call from the NZBSA , telling me I had been chosen to represent New Zealand in the World Snooker Qualifiers in Sheffield in three weeks time.

This is far too much money for me or my mum to pay by ourselves.

My current job only covers my living expenses, so I really need the support of my family and friends. Hopefully, not so far in the near future, I will be able to seal a sponsorship that will make my snooker journey easier.

By supporting me, it would give me the ability to pay for my flights, and help me with the costs of travel. Every little bit helps, and I appreciate any support, no matter how small.
