Please help our families in Ukraine to escape the war.

We are Irina & Alex and we live in Christchurch, New Zealand with our 2 girls 12 & 7 yo.

Our dream was to meet our relatives in Ukraine this year but Russian invasion took away our dreams and crushed all plans. Currently there is no safe place for our parents to live there and we worry about them daily.

My parents Vira and Anatolii love people, have always been involved in social work. During the war, my mother has been making meals, and my father has been delivering them to people at the border.

My beautiful grandmother Evgenia lives with my parents. This year she turned 90 years old! But you won’t believe it, she still sews and knits without glasses. During the war she has knitted a lot of warm socks for people, giving them away for free. She remembers all the details of World War II, famine and persecution. She could never imagine that she would experience it all over again.

My sister Galina and her husband Andrei have two children, 4 and 8 yo. Unfortunately, children are under enormous stress from the sounds of sirens and gunshots.

My husband's parents, Ihor & Tetiana, are now in Mykolaiv, where every day there are shootings going off. Until recently they were refusing to leave her home and be a refugee.

But every day it becomes more and more frightening, simply impossible to remain safe in their hometown.

We believe in God and we believe in goodness in people. Please help us make our dream of seeing our family safe come true!
