We are extremely pleased to announce that Pagia is currently winning his battle with Bowel Cancer.
Following his Bowel surgery and bone scan results our prayers have been answered!! Yay!!!
We have been told the Specialists managed to remove all the Cancer and his bone scan for Cancer came back NEGATIVE.
51 Nodes removed and tested - NEGATIVE.
He has been given the ALL CLEAR.
NO CHEMO OR RADIATION REQUIRED
Liver Lesions - NEGATIVE.
Colonoscopy every 12 months, blood tests every 6 months.
CT Scans every 15 months.
Pagia couldn't have gotten through the past couple of months without your prayers, thoughts and financial support.
He specifically asked we mentioned how humbled and overwhelmed he is by everyone's continued support, visits and checking up on how he's doing.

Please help Pagia as he battles Bowel Cancer
A month ago Pagia, a healthy, super fit and well loved Aqua, Boxing instructor and Personal Trainer was rushed into A&E with severe dizziness and stomach pains.
As if that wasn't enough, he was also suffering from agonizing sharp stabbing pains shooting through his hip and back. He was then immediately admitted into hospital, undergoing further tests. His MRI Scan revealed he had advanced Colon Cancer which has spread.
Surgery on the 25th May was to be keyhole however following the MRI Scan results it was decided to open up and remove part of Pagia's colon and the existing Cancer. Biopsies from this will determine whether Chemotherapy treatment is required.
He is a self-employed contractor which means NO WORK = NO PAY!
He has been unable to do what he loves and is passionate about!, Teach and train people of all ages and cultural backgrounds since Monday 6th May. With uncertainty around when he will be able to return to work and when his next paycheck will be, the financial stress is adding to his worry as he uses all his strength to battle his Cancer.
He now needs our help!
We can help Pagia's recovery and peace of mind by giving a little so he can stop worrying about the household and personal financial woes a father figure does. Instead he can fully focus on beating this Cancer, get back to some normality and back to what he loves and is passionate about in his life.
For those of you that know Pagia, he isn’t one to ask for help! In actual fact, he will be the first one out there in the community always offering to give a hand and wanting to do so much for the everyone. So now it’s our turn to help him out.
Ask any of his family and close friends, they will all tell you the same thing. Pagia is one of the most selfless, kind-nature, loving, generous and hard working people you will meet. He has touched so many lives and helped so many in becoming more active as well as living better healthier lives.
Let’s all help make a difference so he can go on living the future he deserves and helping those that matter the most to him. Let's help relieve some of the financial pressure his family is now under due to this very serious situation so they can fully concentrate on helping their brother, son, dad, 'Pappa' and uncle without the constant financial worry.

Pagia is my older brother and being the youngest in our family I will always be grateful to him for the love and support he has always given me and the wider community.
This is our opportunity to show our support for him and thank him in his time of need.

Just an Update
Firstly, a Big Thank You from Pagia and the Family.
With the funds Pagia had been able to keep on top off his daily living expenses, medical expenses and a Massive Scar is Born
If it's not one thing, it is another. Our Well Loved Samoan Warrior is still broken. Before the C' thing, Pagia had been suffering from severe back pain. Pagia took it as Sciatica and DIY pain relief at home though sleeping on the floor, to stretches and just warming up for the day.
Whilst in hospital with the C thing, Pagia was given pain relief medication which helped back and post op pain. Pagia was advised to see his local GP and get a CT Scan of his back. Results came back, Lower Back has Arthritis and a Cyst has formed rubbing onto the nerve. Prescribed multiple painkillers leading up to a Steroid injection, tried to pop Cyst, No go. Multiple painkillers with its multiple side effects has created multiple problems,
- Insomnia (max 2 hours total sleep over a 24 hour period)
- lightheaded
- dizziness
- anxious
- depressed
- deep dark thoughts
- self loathing
- everything Pagia did physically took it's toll.
Pagia's health situation has dictated that REST and RECOVER is required, we want our Samoan Warrior back to his normal cheeky, motivational and inspirational self.
With all what Pagia has gone through and still going through, it has now left Pagia not only emotionally, physically, and mentally drained, but the added financial woes is also hugely impacting Pagia’s health and wellbeing. Road to recovery will be bumpy with the constant worry of not being mentally and physically able to work. Your continued support and any financial assistance would be very much appreciated in Pagia’a hour of need!
Under medical and professional advice, it was decided Pagia was to Rest, Recover, Recharged and Reinvent himself.
