Please help Letitia as she fights this battle.

Nationwide

Back in 2015 Letitia was digasonised with a parotid tumour and all tests performed came back inconclusive.

Palmerston North hospital operated on the tumour and removed most of it leaving a very small amount that was attached to her facial nerves.

Early 2019 Letitia started noticing that it was getting larger and causing her discomfort and pain in the area. She visited many doctors at the rotorua hospital and her GP where she was told they could do some tests, however they didn't feel it was neccessary and kept sending her home with painkillers and was pretty much told she just had to live with the pain.

Mid 2019 Letitia was getting chronic pain, sleepless nights and was visting her Gp often. Finally tests were done and came back inconclusive but doctors all believed it to be benign.

Moving towards end of 2019 and the pain had not subsided and after many more GP appointments Letitia finally got a referral to the specialist in Waikato hospital where they took further testing, read over her notes and acted very quickly as they could see it had been left far to long.

She had been suffering, trying to still carry on her work duties on next to no sleep with horrible pain that was getting worse by the day.

A few days later she received a call to say they needed to get her to Waikato hospital ASAP where they decided straight away that she needed surgery to remove the very angry tummor.

After a 7 hour complex and complicated surgery, Letitia had the tumor removed and a partial neck dissection where they removed her lymth nodes, leaving her with partial facial paralysis. This is devastating for Letitia who already suffers from severe anxiety. But was hopefully going to be the end of all the pain.

New Year’s Eve 2019 she had a follow up appointment at Waikato hospital where she was given the devastating news that she has mucoepidermoid carcinoma cancer. She now has a very long road ahead with her recovery and she will be starting radation to try and kill the remaining cancer.

Letitia is the most beautiful person with a heart of gold! She is always helping others and works so hard to provide for herself.

She's a lovely 29 year old who shouldn't be going through something like this at her stage in life.

This journey means she has a lot of stay away appointments from home, travel from rotorua to Waikato 5x a week and loss of income due to her not being able to work for a long length of time.

Please help donate if you can. Every cent will go towards all of her needs to get her better!

We all thank you from the bottom of our hearts for every cent you can help out with!
