Please help us to help our suicidal 13 year old daughter

Our daughter suffered a terrible tragedy in the form of rape when she was just 7 years old. Although her perpetrator was brought to justice, she and our family have been the ones serving the sentence since.

She suffers everything from nightmares, flashbacks extreme anxiety attacks, ptsd and depression and self harms. She has attempted suicide 4 times, with the last one been just recently which nearly ended her life. This has been her and our battle on a daily basis for the past 4 years.

As a Mum, the saddest part for me besides the suicide attempts is the way she sees herself in this world as damaged goods and not worthy of anyone’s love. It breaks mine and my husbands hearts and we need help to try to put other things in place for her.

There are no publicly funded facilities for children under 16 years of age where she/we could access full time help and care. We have exhausted all available public resources which don’t seem to be working. We would like to look at other private alternatives but due to me being unable to work, because I am her 24/7 carer, we are unable to financially pay. We are asking for your help, no matter how small it is, it will be forever appreciated.
