32 year old mother of 3 dying of cancer needs your help to stay alive and spend precious time with her children aged 12, 6 and 4 years.
Manawatu / Whanganui
I am writing this on behalf of my grandchildren, Serena aged 12, Annabelle aged 6 and Joshua aged 4 who do not want their mother to die. They desperately need your help to keep their mother alive.
Rebekah is only 32 years old. She was diagnosed 3 years ago with Secondary Breast Cancer. Rebekah has been a courageous, brave and determined young woman who continues to fight everything that is thrown at her. Never once has she said no to any treatments regardless of how harrowing they have been or how much she has felt like s--t. Rebekah has undergone numerous different types of treatments including specialised medications, several rounds of chemotherapy and radiation whilst battling this terrible disease which is taking her life.
Rebekah has just been told that her latest treatment is no longer working and there are no more government funded treatments that can help her.
Prognosis: Rebekah will die without your help
Rebekah's last hope of survival in New Zealand is a new drug called 'Ibrance'. It will give Rebekah who has advanced hormone receptor positive breast cancer (advanced secondary breast cancer) a better quality of life and more time to spend with her loved ones especially her 3 young children.
But at a cost of $5,000 per month for this treatment Rebekah and her 3 young children need your help to raise as much money as possible to allow her and her children more precious time together.
Rebekah is not prepared to give up her fight to stay with her children for as long as she can and nor are we.
So lets dig deep and give Serena, Annabelle and Joshua the opportunity to spend as much time as possible with their mother.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts
All funds raised will be used for non funded medications and to help the family build precious memories.
