Help 3 kiwi girls fill our packs when we head to Nepal, and provide a struggling Nepali town of Sera with belated Christmas gifts.
Wellington
Alice, Tess and Zoe are architectural students who are fortunate enough to be travelling to Nepal with Aussie Action Abroad to help construct a women's meeting centre for the local Amasama (Mothers group). We will be travelling to the village of Sera, near Khudi outside of Besisahar. This village is in need of support after severe flooding has affected the region, resulting in slips which have damaged existing facilities and buildings.
We are volunteering our time, (not too many skills) and see the opportunity to pack the bags full to the brim and be walking talking postman's from you to these people. The money raised before we leave on the 28th of December will be used to purchase educational equipment (such as books and pencils), hygiene supplies and sporting equipment. There is usually a tools down soccer match running with the local kids everyday. Hoping to also take a rugby ball and teach the children about the New Zealand culture.
The money raised post our departure to Nepal will be given to the Amasama (Mothers group) of Sera. Travelling with Aussie Action Abroad ensures that the money raised will be distributed to reliable sources who will really benefit from the fundraising.
Please help us help people in Nepal who are struggling, every little bit helps!

Being the walking talking postman's and using the money raised to provide the people of the small village Sera with hygienic, communal and educational resources
We will be using the money raised through this page to buy these products to take with us to Nepal and provide them to the community.
The amount of equipment depends on the amount of money raised
Every little bit counts
