I am Lucy Holdaway a 8 year old girl that wants to raise $10,000 for people with prosthetic limbs. Big task ahead.

My name is Lucy Holdaway I am 8 years old last year I started watching youtube videos about people with prosthetic limbs. I thought it would be good to raise some money for people with prosthetics. So I talked to our junior school principal and she has said that the school will help me on my BIG goal. I have set the target of $10000 when we get the money we will then take applications from people needing the help and along with my school class we will distribute the money to help people with prosthetics the money may help pay for a special sports coach or get someone some special equipment, it may even pay for them to go on a rehabilitation camp.

I am involved because I am Lucys mum and i want to see her reach this BIG goal. even tho I am slightly freaking out.

Use of funds

The money will be placed in a bank account where the financial records will be made available. Once we have raised the money people will then be able to apply for funding through a grants process. Once we have recevied an application this will be presented to the girls at St Margaret's where they will discuss the applications. We can help with extras such as sending someone on a rehabilitation camp or funding a sports coach. The amount of help we could provide would be endless.
