Help Proud to Play to be a successful event in 2016 & help support the Youth Hui so youth can attend at no cost!
Auckland
The Proud to Play NZ Youth Hui, aims to bring young people together to discuss issues they face and build a strong LGBTIF youth community. We are working with RainbowYOUTH and the Universities to help deliver this great conference. Blake Skjellerup, NZ Olympian and Youth Advocate, has agreed to be our keynote speaker.
Also the sporting events are being run only by volunteers. The team have reduced the costs to the bare minimum to make them accessible to EVERYONE! We need the communities support to keep these costs to visitors, youth and athletes down.
Proud to Play NZ is designed to support sports, culture and human rights in New Zealand. We want people to be PROUD of who they are and PROUD to represent their region and New Zealand
The inaugural Proud to Play tournament in Aotearoa New Zealand will take place in Auckland over 13-20 February 2016.
Proud to Play features 11 sport competitions, and registrations are open!
