Queenstown's annual hurling charity match hosted by Queenstown Band of Brothers is set to unfold on Saturday 27th February at the Queenstown Recreation grounds against the Christchurch GAA team.
What can only be described as the biggest game of the year held here in Queenstown!!
Two teams coming together for a very hard hitting skill-full Irish sport called Hurling.
Three years ago Christchurch came down and beat Queenstown in there first ever game but 2019 was a different story were the Queenstown boys (Band of Brothers) took the victory. Last year the match was cancelled due to Covid19 so this year Christchurch will be coming with vengeance but our lads will be waiting!!!
Playing for a new trophy called the Lindis Pass!!
A huge thank you to all the business that have already got on board to support this awesome community event that is raising money for our local Wakatipu St John Ambulance service.
