Updated 21st August

As you will know sadly our dear Adrian passed away August 11. He was recovering well from his surgery, moved to HDU, was eating, talking and giving plenty of cheek. He woke the morning he died in severe pain and very quickly lost consciousness. The wonderful team at the hospital tried for 45mins to revive him. We do not know yet why he died, we will know more once we hear from the coroner. Everyone close to Adrian is devastated and cannot believe its real.

All Adrian wanted to do was come home to New Zealand and give all his family a big hug. We need to bring him home and celebrate his life like he deserved, this is where his family needs your help. Any small amount will be very appreciated and all will be welcome to celebrate his life with us.

If you cannot afford to help financially, please do something nice for your fellow man. Nothing made Adrian happier than making others happy. Take a meal to your elderly neighbour, call your friend who is having a rough time, ask the parent with a screaming toddler if they are ok, smile at a stranger. Adrians generosity is something we can keep well and truly alive.

I'm his older sister and can't go due to my own health. The money is purely to ensure he has family with him in his time of need.

Use of funds

To get my mum and sister over to London to be with him and be able to stay as he will be in ICU for a long time.

You always tried to do good and keep everyone around you smiling. I'll try to pass this on in my every day actions. Thank you Adrian for everything you did that made each person you met smile or feel good. You really did make a difference. x

I was friends Adrian a few years ago through mutual friends. He was a kind person and I enjoyed getting to know him. I hope a small donation helps to get him home. Rest in Peace Adrian. X
