Raising funds to support Jacob West and his family while he is undergoing treatment for rare tumour’s, Gliomatosis Cerebri.
In 2015, Jacob was diagnosed with Gliomatosis Cerebri at 16 years of age while attending Tauranga Boys College. Since then he has bravely undergone multiple cancer treatments including chemotherapy. Jacob has demonstrated admirable strength, maturity and resilience throughout his diagnosis and treatment. Recently it was discovered that Jacob’s tumours have grown and he will now undergo further chemotherapy, radiation therapy and possibly travel to the USA for clinical trial therapies.
Funds raised aim to support access to the best medical treatments for Jacob and ease financial pressure during this challenging time, by allowing family members to take time off work and support Jacob.
If able, Jacob wishes to go on a family holiday. Funds raised will help to make this wish come true and create wonderful memories with his Mum Jo, Step Dad Jack, and siblings, Conor, Emily and Olivia.
