Lisa has put hundreds of unpaid hours into advocating for climate change action. Let's recognise her efforts with a donation to support her.
Wellington
Lisa recently received a Queen's Service Award for her four years of intense volunteer climate change advocacy. She has been a driving force in the campaign for a Zero Carbon Act, a ground-breaking piece of legislation to address the climate crisis that was recently passed into law in Aotearoa.
She has put literally hundreds of hours of her time into this advocacy work. While it would be awesome if this work was paid, unfortunately it isn't - but she did it anyway. And now we'd like to give back!
We are so glad to see climate advocacy and Lisa's work being recognised with this Award - and we'd like to invite you to add to that recognition with a bit of cash to go some of the way towards compensating Lisa for all the awesome work she has done.
“New Zealand’s story isn’t written by those in positions of power, but by the countless acts of people like Lisa who do extraordinary things to make New Zealand a better place for everyone,” Government media release.

I am a friend of Lisa and a supporter of her incredible climate change advocacy.
The funds will go directly to Lisa, in recognition of her many hours of work that we wish could have been paid!
