Suicide Prevention Fundraiser - #ITHEAVYHITTERS 2021

Wellington

Welcome to IT Heavy Hitters 2021, a suicide prevention boxing fundraiser for The Key to Life Charitable Trust.

Lead by our head coach, Robbie Martin, we're a group of IT professionals in Wellington boxing for this great cause.

The IT Heavy Hitters events of the last few years have raised over $437,000 for The Key to Life Charitable Trust and we are currently working as a team to pull this together again. The Key to Life Charitable Trust is a registered charitable trust aiming to affect positive social change surrounding suicide prevention, suicide awareness and mental health in New Zealand. It's a great cause and we look forward to making a difference to those affected by these issues.

Wellington event: May 1st 2021 and the fight night main event will be the Doug McLay Memorial Fight, Doug was an inspiration to many boxers and is sorely missed throughout the sporting communities he was involved in following his 2013 suicide.

Use of funds
