I am carrying a dirt bike for the duration of the full 42km Rotorua marathon to raise the money to pay for the same bike to give to Reef
Waikato
2 year old Reef Smith has cancer and is regularly hospitalised during times of infection and illness.
We have raised funds to assist his family during these times. Now we want to make a dream come true for him.
He dreams of his own dirt bike.
So lets get it!!
Please help us with this fun challenge
We carried lawn mowers around the 70km's of Ruapehu's rugged circuit track to raise funds for Reefs family to help during the difficult times when Reef is getting treatment away from home.
Now I want to get him something fun. He has wanted a dirt bike for a long time, so, I am going to carry a Yamaha TTR50 during the entire duration of the Rotorua marathon to raise the funds to buy the very same bike.
Reef will receive his bike at the finish line. It will be fitted with trainer wheels, compliments of Cambridge Yamaha
Rotorua marathon carrying a dirt bike 12 April 2016
Thank you Rotorua marathon organisers for giving us heavily discounted entry fees.
We have the bike. A yamaha TTR50, weighing over 40kg's. I will be carrying it for the entire duration of the full 42km marathon.
Cambridge Yamaha are in the process of making Reef some trainer wheels for the bike at no cost to us! Thanks guys
