25km on the 25th September. Raising money for the Helen & Douglas Hospice.
Bay of Plenty
In March 2019, my dear friend Fran's son Oli K and his then partner Ellie (recently married) were blessed with twin boys, Harley and Roman. After a few days it was revealed that Roman had life threatening problems that required constant 24 hour care.
They were all very fortunate to have the care and support of the Helen & Douglas House Hospice for Children and Young Adults who supported Roman and his family until he passed away 10 months later. Their care and support made a huge difference in all their lives throughout this time.
As you will be aware, most Hospice facilities survive on charity and regular donations in order to provide the love and care they so ably do for so many families.
The hospice gave much needed support and palliative care to Roman and his family who are close and dear friends.
It will go towards all charitable donations that cover the costs of operations for this facility.
Donations will be made via their website: https://www.helenanddouglas.org.uk/donate/
