The reason for this page is to purchase electrical tools for Gareth since his tools were stolen from the hospital carpark.
Waikato
Kia ora,
My partner Gareth is an electrician who has been working at Waikato Hospital as an essential worker during the level 4 and 3 COVID-19 restrictions. He put his name forward to be one of the electricians to do the work in order to help out the community. He has put his own health on the line to install equipment which has helped the COVID-19 patients and the nurses working with the patients.
On the 28/04/2020 at approximately 10:30am in the main building carpark at Waikato hospital level C16-C18 between $1,000 - $2000 of his personal electrical tools were stolen.
A police report has been lodged (Reference Number: 200428/7976), however, the tools have not been returned or located yet.
Unfortunately, Gareth does not have personal contents insurance and cannot personally therefore claim for the stolen goods.
There has been an overwhelming level of support from the facebook community, which we are both extremely grateful for.
Any proceeds raised will go directly towards purchasing tools for Gareth, to ensure that he can continue to work as normal. Any small amount during this tough time will be largely appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
I am Gareth's partner.
