Reuben John Alexander, on Saturday, 24th January 2026, passed unexpectedly after a very short illness at Christchurch Hospital; Aged 29 years old. A dearly loved son, stepson, and cherished member of his wider whānau. Loved grandson of those who have passed before him. A much‑loved nephew, cousin, uncle, and friend to many.
This page is for anyone who wishes to donate to the family to help Ingrid fund a trip to Holland with Reuben's ashes to visit his family's homeland, which he never got the opportunity to see. Some of his ashes will be spread in his mother's hometown.
Use of funds
All donations go towards travel expenses such as flights, accommodation and insurance etc

Reuben's come home 13 February 2026
I now have his ashes home. Have learnt that will have to get export certificate to take some ashes overseas, can't just randomly take some ashes. I'm learning lots ... ☺️
