To help with extra costs at The Richmond Park while they are housing evactuated animals and volunteers.

The Richmond Park/Showgrounds as most know - opened their gates, sheds and paddocks to house evactuated animals who had to be relocated due to the ongoing pigeon valley fire.
The A&p association which are a charitable organisation were first contacted by MPI after the fires began. Enquiring whether animals could be brought to the showgrounds.
Harness racing had already put a call out for any horses that needed somewhere to go as well.
After MPI other groups came to the Park to help including VERT, Federated farms, Huha, the Spca and several veterinarians. Of course members from the A&p organisation and harness racing have been at the Park doing what they can as well.
To get to the point im creating this give alittle page to hopefully help the A&p association who are a charitable organisation which maintain and run the Park with any additional costs this horrible event has created for them.
The extra power used by volunteers who are staying at the park in motor homes and caravans.
The extra water being used for the animals.
General wear and tear of the property.
I also know that the organisation will be thinking of ways they could improve the facilities incase this sort of thing ever happens again. (Fingers crossed it doesnt)
If anyone could spare a dollar or two I'm sure they would greatly appreciate it.
I am one of Annettes daughters. Annette managers the Park and organises their main fundraiser every year.
General running & upkeep of the Park. Paying the extra utility costs.
