Rickshaw Run 2019 - Three Unlikely Mates

Hi! We’re the Thornberry’s,

Part of your average bunch of mates,

There’s Nigel (A.K.A Aidan) - And Marianne (A.K.A Avia),

And... a sister (who couldn’t make it),

That's Donnie (A.K.A Stanley) - We found him,

and Darwin (Don't worry we have a monkey),

He found us,

About our rickshaw, It moves... barely @ 55kpmh downhill!

and will take us 3,000km across India,

You see, we’re doing the rickshaw run,

Okay, so we're not that average,

But between you and me, something amazing happened,

And now, we can stomach all types of Indian food! It's pretty cool and totally secret,

And you know what? Life will never be the same!

If you hadn’t already guessed, we are The Wild Thornberry’s! – a theme we will uphold through and through! – just wait til you see our Rickshaw!

Meet our poorly equipped team:

Aidan Paterson (A.K.A Nigel Thornberry) – Financial Officer:

Most likely delegated his way into this position due to his inability to stop talking and the sheer size of his head. Aidan is set to carry on his banking ways by managing the team finances, unnecessary purchases/investments all the while providing constant commentary along the trip, smashing!

Avia Ben-Harosh (A.K.A Marianne Thornberry) – Navigation Expert

Being a head and then some taller than the boys, Avia will be in charge of all things navigation and weather related throughout the journey. Although she has already strictly confirmed Nigel is just a friend, she will act as Team mum for when the other two get out of hand!

Stanley Tang (A.K.A Donnie) – Chief Laser Consultant

Having one of the more interesting sounding post graduate degrees in “Lasers”. Unfortunately, Stanley will be of little help when the mechanical rickshaw goes astray! Stanley is the Donnie of the Crew and is expected to be get a little bit too crazy, ending up on the wrong side of some wild life!
