Koha for Rob's Melbourne Treatment
Rob requires Cancer treatment in Melbourne which is self funded and requires several trips to and from NZ.

Rob was diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumours, a rare type of cancer.Unfortunately for Rob treatment is not available in N.Z but is available at the Peter McCallumhospital in Melbourne on a self funded basis. While Rob has enjoyed good health throughout the first few years of diagnosis, managing day to day is now becoming increasingly difficult without treatment. Ultimately the treatment will hopefully shrink the tumours. Rob wishes to celebrate his daughters wedding in November this year and the arrival of there first grandchild in January 2017.

Melbourne Treatment starts February 2017 1 December 2016
Hello Everyone,
A huge thank you to friends and family and those unknown who have donated to Rob's treatment to date, we are very grateful and humbled at the kindness and generosity given.
At the end of October Rob took his first trip to Melbourne to the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre for a pre treatment check & gatate scan. The results were positive in that he is eligible for treatment. His specialist has recommended four treatments starting mid February 2017. We will spend 4-5 days at each treatment with an eight week break back home before returning. This has enabled us to have a clear understanding of the costs involved including, treatment, accommodation & flights.
We now have a new goal to reach $40,000.00.
In the mean time Rob has walked his eldest daughter Jenna down the aisle on a beautiful summer day beaming with pride & joy. A fabulous celebration followed with family & friends.
We now look forward to the birth of our first grandchild from our youngest daughter Abbe due in late January, so exciting milestones ahead.
